HEY FOLKS!

sorry for not posting for more than a month! :) HAHA.

SOOOOO, lot's of stuff happened while I was 'away from blogging'.

In no particular order:

1. i went to SAN FRANCISCO & LOS ANGELES for 2 and a half weeks!
2. i got myself a Kellie Pickler photo & keychain

3. i went for christmas midnight mass with FUEL friends.

4. i received LOTS of christmas presents.
5. my official music genre became country.
6. went for Natalie's birthday party.

7. the mosttttt recent- I CHANGED MY BLOGSKIN(the previous one totally screwed up!).

alright, i'll pick out the 'important' ones and talk about em-

1. SAN FRANCISCO WAS AWESOME. I went to the Golden Gate Bridge, San Francisco TOWN area, Ghiradelli Square and almost all the malls there! I stayed in Hilton Garden Inn in San Mateo(slightly off San Francisco). the hotel was great.

LOVED THE TV SHOWS THERE MAN! watched The Ellen DeGeneres Show, The Bonnie Hunt Show, The Wendy Williams Show, The Tonight Show with Conan O' Brien and The Late Night Show with Jimmy Fallon, almost EVERYDAY! loved the Drama serials/Comedy shows too

I loved the radio stations there! ESPECIALLY 95.7TheWolf, which plays Country music!

I had this two aunts to bring me around- DUMB(i hate her, personal reasons.) & AUNTY ANNETTE(love her! soooo american-ish!)! While I was there, i did go online and stuff but only talked to a few people coz of the time difference I guess? When it was 4pm, the whole place was dark(as in the sun had set)! Unlike Singapore. HAHAHA.

OH, & the people there were super friendly man. they'll go like- "how's everything today? good?", "how do you find everything here today?", "happy holiday! how ya doin'", "happy holidays! how's everythin'?"! DAMN POLITE MAN(unlike Singapore, eeeks.) OH OH OH, & the food! it was superb! Loved their In-N-Out Burgers & Mexican food(Chipotle)! it's a shame we only had them on our second last day there :(

& LOS ANGELES WAS GREAT! I had a chance to visit the Universal Studios, Universal Theme Parks, Disney Theme Parks aka DISNEYLAND and Hollywood Boulevard! I even went all the way up to th top of the hill to see the Hollywood sign! WOOHOOOO.

3+4. CHRISTMAS MASS WITH FUEL PEOPLE WAS GREAT TOO! It's funny when i recall how we had to squeeze in order to allow 18 people to sit on an '11-person' bench/pew! HAHA. After mass we started taking photos and exchanged gifts as well as hugs&wishes!(: & the christmas presents i received were just damn nice man! i got boxers, tees, chocs, muffin cards and $$$. OH, the i liked Claire's and Andre's PRESENTS! Claire gave me something that's super useful: (Fake) AUSSIE$500- coz i always say i have no money, & a notepad which i can stick anywhere- coz i have short term memory. HAHA. OH OH, and Andre's present was the BOMBZ- a Condom! HAHA. i 'used' it already though, so its gone. but, i liked it! :P

6. NATALIE'S 15TH BIRTHDAY PARTY WAS GRRRRREAT!
the food was damn delicious and we had fun!(: simple but a superb party!

I'm having Lingonberry Jam with Nutella and Cheese sandwhich for supper now! :)

went out with Jon, Claire, Natalie, Natasha, Dom, Ian, Augy&Claudia yesterday!(: it was fun!
we met at 7-11 and then proceeded to book the tickets for th show. When the ticket officers gave us th tickets, Claire and I were like WOAH! Coz we booked nine tickets and they were all 'connected', thus making it SUPER LONG! After booking th tickets, we walked around a bit before heading over for lunch at Cafe Cartel!(: Oh and after we ate, i guess most of us had an Andrenaline RUSH coz we started like shooting out ice through the straw to anyone and everyone! and be the innocent Jeremy that i am, i didn't know how to shoot! We were all joking, laughing and making fun of each other aft that. HAHA. Left at 3.15pm(:

OH MAN! My aunt told me I'll know whether i'll get the tickets LATER IN THE EVENING! i'm super nervous, worried and afraid i might not be able to get th tickets :( :( :(

okay, so earlier today I was damn troubled, worried and in a dilemma...
My aunt told me we're probably leaving for San Francisco this Sunday(but nothing is confirmed yet coz we're on the standby list- 75% chances of going). But the thing is it clashes with my confirmation! :( So i was really in a HUGE dilemma, whether to go for Confirmation-which I prepared for for months and years OR go to San Francisco-which was my biggest dream since 2003. Either ways i'll regret. But Thankfully Ian, Jon and most importantly Claire comforted me. Oh man, Claire was damn sweet. Lemme quote her message, she said "it's up to you. I'll respect it and support you all the way:) ........ make a decision and never regret it.and don't get swayed by otheres who gives a different opinion. I'M BEHIND YOU ALL THE WAY BRO!:)" wasn't she sweet? THANKS SIS!
So after much hesitation and thinking through, i've decided if I get the chance to go to San Francisco, i'll go ahead with it. And here's the thing, aunty katy told me I'll STILL be confirmed even if I can't make it :) YEAH. I'm sure this is what our Heavenly Father had planned for me. I'll continue to pray for his guidance...

Anyways, tomorrow after my math tuition in the morning, I'll be meeting my usual clique at j8@1pm to book our tickets for the New Moon marathon next week, and after that lunch. If i can't go, i'll pass the ticket to someone else :)

hokley dokley, i'm back from a super long day which revolved around FOOD!

This morning, we left for JB at 7.30am. We had some dim sum and bak kut teh for lunch at some restaurant(which is spelled as RESTORAN there?). It was super duper good man(: After that we did some stuff which i wont say :x Came back to Singapore at 2pm.

OH when I came back, i got the Oprah Magazine(special December issue with Ellen DeGeneres) from MPH. & can you believe, there's less than 100 copies in Singapore(according to what I heard)!!

Around 5pm, we left for mass at St Bernadette. After mass, we had Indian food at Arab street. woooo~ but it was super oily man. HA!
Once I got home, i called Sarah-Eden to request for Replay by IYAZ featuring Sean Kingston. Well actually, the main reason i called her wasn't to request for a song, it was to catch up with her coz we have not talked for a whole SIX MONTHS! HAHAH. So after she recorded the conversation that was gonna go on air, we had a lil' chit-chat about life, my confirmation as a catholic, religion, studies and...err..girlfriend! LOL :P

Gonna complete chem&bio tuition homework tomorrow! hopefully i can finish all coz my tutor gave me tens of pages to complete!!
AND aunts' coming back at midnight. there goes my freedom and late night :(

i'm still awake at 3.30am! watching Charmed on DVD on my laptop now. HAHAHA

Today was a nice relaxing day. chilled at home and then in the evening, went to my great grandaunt's house at east coast for dinner(: Came home at 10pm! Immediately I called 987fm, emily teng was on! requested for Michael Buble's Haven't Me You Yet(its one of the songs on my blog). After talking to her, I msn-ed with her till 11pm! YAY(:
OH & i'm going to JB for a short day trip later. HAHA.
after that i'm going for mass at St Bernadette's in the evening with family!

For the last few days, I've been 'researching' on what to ask for for christmas(: its either some stuff that i'm gonna buy from america online OR flesh imp/zara stuff. budget=$150 to $200, preferably $150!

FUEL social was a success! We played Guess That Song/Lyric Lockdown and Blindfolded Musical-Chairs&Pictionary, which we both influenced by Ellen! (: Blindedfolded Musical-Chairs was the most fun I reckon. HAHAHAHAH. One and a half hours of complete fun!

After that, we headed to the Hong Kong Cafe aka the 'brothel' across the road for dinner slash supper. As usual, we were 'koping' from each other food! While eating, we guys were talking about some guy stuff which NO GIRL SHOULD KNOW! hahaha, some super funny and some, super....disgusting. LOL.

HAHAHA alright! I'm back from the Confirmation Camp(sorry for the delayed post)! Well, in order to not make this a super lengthy post, i'll NOT =talk about what we did each day- I'll just summarise it for y'all! (:
On a whole, i enjoyed the camp! What I loved about it the most(even though there were hardly any games, like what Gerard said) is that was VERY MEANINGFUL and believe it or not, I could feel God's presence... what i REALLY liked was the Sacrament Of Reconciliation(Confession), writing of letters/warm fuzzies to affirm & pray for someone, praise&worship AND the time where we could give BIG HUGS to all our friends! The food was good too. & slept in the same bunk with nathan, andre, gerard, ian and a couple of the other guys(including the 'pai kias'). btw, there were two bunks. Usually after every session, our usual clique(claire, andre, nat, aug, jon, ian and dom) would usually hang out at the second floor(where the guys bunk were) to chat and write our warm fuzzies. OH talking about warm fuzzies, I received lots of super touching, nice and sweet ones(actually all of em' were)! The best was Claire's. It was super long man. & the thing is that I felt so guilty because i wrote to her a short one- that's why on Sunday evening, i wrote to her a FULL two-pages long fuzzy. SHE BETTER APPRECIATE IT, IF NOT....... :) Anyways, If I have the time, I'll post some of the awesome warm fuzzies I received on to my facebook or here! If there's anything else y'all wanna ask me about the camp, feel free to do so alright........

Sadly after the camp, she found out about it man.. craps. But thankfully, Gerard had helped me to keep it a secret and will kinda be my main advisor and stuff. see, that's an awesome friend- A FRIEND IN NEED IS A FRIEND INDEED! :) thanks bro! (claire, if you wanna know, call me and i'll let you know what it's about. but remember to keep it a SECRET)

OH and yesterday I planned this Friday FUEL social with Becky and Pauline via msn! HAHAH. we had a good laugh about some stuff! We decided not to go out of church and stuff coz it might rain and it's too late to issue the consent forms and stuff. So we're gonna stay in the audi and do some other stuff(which is different from every FUEL session)!
ALL I CAN SAY IS: FUEL social this Friday(20/11/09) @ 8pm- COME AND PLAY at the audi! :D

As y'all know, Kellie Pickler has been a country girl all this while and it was only during Idol that she knew what Calamari was! Coz in Albermarle(where she stayed as a kid and teen), there was no such thing! there wasn't any running water in and out of toilets, school buses and cars- only outhouses as toilets, buckets in a well for water & tractors and horses for transport! :) btw, she thought bidet were water fountains and didn't know what duvets were! HAHAHAHA!

okay so the photoshop lesson was quite okay.. Wasn't 100% clear coz the lesson was going at a fast pace BUT i still picked up a few skills- i could make Underwood, Swift and Pickler look PREGNANT! HAHAHA :) Anyways, i just gotta get the photoshop application thing onto my laptop(if not i'll forget how to use it) coz I think I deleted it by accident! eeks.
After the lesson, had lunch with Jillian and Sally. We talked about next year and O' Level! HAHA. sally was super jealous of some of the 4e5n students coz it was the 'last day of suffering' for those who took combined-science. LOL. & we got two more years till O's are officially over. sighs. Wah and that Bryan pangseh siaaa.. he couldn't follow us coz he ate his japanese thingy until super full. LOL. & qiuying and sutheng had to go out to do don't know what.

OH and yesterday i slept at 4am man. the SS & Geog holiday assignment is super tough and confusing. but nevermind, I WILL complete it before i sleep today- ITS A MUST!

okay okay.
today i'm feeling a tad bit better.
gonna skip tomorrow's math remedial- corrina, kaixin, sally, su theng, bryan, qiuying all not going too!
oh and talking about qiuying, i had a chat with her just now on the phone(didn't have such long chats with her in ages!). she was persuading me to go but in the end, I managed to kinda 'persuade' her not to go. oh oh, and i was teasing her about SHE & ___a_! HAHA! damn funny man, her reactions.

Just now around 8.30pm, i had a chat with Claire too! got a chance to listen to her play Collide, You Belong With Me and Crazier on the guitar. she's quite good for a beginner man(fyi, she self-taught herself)! smart right? HEHE. oo yeah, we talked about other stuff too. LOL.
This thursday we're probably gonna watch 2012 at j8, hopefully my aunt allows! (:

A POST DEDICATED TO CLAIRE MARIE GOH JIE LIN! (well, at least 1/2 to 3/4 is about her!)

man! i'm down with a flu and cough. sighs... I have been taking pills after pills. Well, i shouldn't be complaining coz this is purely my fault COZ i ate too much chips and fish keropok on Wednesday!
Anyways, today I went for noon mass at st ignatius church. After which we were suppose to have lunch at some chinese restaurant(i think they have dim sum) but we changed our minds coz I've got a cough at should eat something less oily. SO, we had cantonese congee at havelock. After which, i came back to rest.
AND after my dinner(pork chop with fries and coleslaw), Claire & I had a superrr long chat! it was fun, meaningful and FUNNY! We talked about my problems, her problems and there were some jokes here and there too! oh, and operation tre-c__p too! I'm very glad we're as close as we were a few months ago when we just met :)
So here's my lil' note to her(i just had to write it!):

okay, i'm sorry to EVERYONE for not updating my blog for one week! got quite a few of people telling me to update and asking me why i didn't do so. SORRY!
WOW! didn't know there were people STILL reading my blog man. LOL.
Anyways, okay! so the school holidays have started! i guess its time for me to slack, relax BUT study too. sighs.
alright, let me summarise what I did:

LAST WEEK: On friday, I went with reuben, bryan, jieying and zainul to Ion Orchard to walk around and stuff. We had BK for lunch with bubble tea. HAHA. oh! I got my iPod Nano(5th Gen) already! YEAH!! Now i can spam it with both new and older songs PLUS videos and pictures! on the next day, there was cat class. We watched a movie about St Anthony. After church, I went to Wheelock's to ask the Apple people to install the voiceover kit for my phone. Once it was installed, I got presents for some people and then got my Borders membership card :)
On Sunday, We attended mass at St Ignatius'. After which, everyone met at Island Country club to celebrate my aunt's birthday. In the evening, there was nasi lemak dinner party/feast thingy.

THIS WEEK: Had math remedial on tuesday and thursday. On tuesday, bryan, qy, kx, corrina, sally, dorcas, jacq and I met up for b'fast at Macs' then straight to school. after remedial, Corrina, Kaixin, Sally and I went out. Initially Sally went to look for a job at j8, then novena. But her motive slowly swayed to shopping. So they went window shopping at novena square and then REAL shopping at Bugis. While waiting for the shuttle bus, a HUGE grasshopper flew/hopped down for the wall or something and touched sally and corrina. they were like screaming and stuff. their reaction was SUPER funny man! Anyways, when I went back home, there was a huge problem(those typical family ones). I don't wanna elaborate it. so yeah. If you wanna know, ask me personally- i might tell you. HAHAHA!!!
FRIDAY: HAPPY BIRTHDAY CLARA TAN JUN WEI & GABRIELLA MARIE KOW!!! there was a FUEL session! and surprisingly, more than 20 people came! AWESOME! Pauline&Penny+Claire and Natalie were the ones who planned the session. and as first-timers, claire and nat were good! :) The main thing that we discussed about was 'Sacrifice'. After the sharing and breaking of the bread/word, Audrey called Gabby and we ALL sang her a birthday song! :D Once the whole session ended, Adam, Natalie, Jon, Augy, Dom, Ian and I went to some Hong Kong cafe(with red lanterns outside the entrance)for supper. the food was not bad BUT the price was a killer. Augy and I ordered fried rice(8 bucks). all of us ordered drinks though, which costed about 3bucks each. We left the place at around 12.15AM! HAHAHA :D
OH OH, and I just found out Natalie TOO likes Country-Pop music! She likes Pickler and Underwood too man! AWESOME STUFF! ;) Finally found someone almost like me!

Starting tuition classes and gonna chiong my holiday assignments next week! ALSO, there's con3 camp on the 13th-15thNov! ....

A disheartening video

Today was kinda boring, we didn't really study. the teachers let us do whatever we wanted to do. So at around 12nn, i called 987 to request for a song(coz kaixin urged me to do so) BUT when MsVandetta answered the phone she couldn't hear me coz of poor reception. sad case..
dang! tomorrow CONFIRM gonna receive report book. Don't know how I'll really fair and stuff...
OH! and after school, Reuben and I(along with some Drama Club people) are gonna watch some play at the Singapore Repertory Theatre.

ANYWAYS, just wanted to share this sad video with y'all.

Just by looking at the still image, you might think this video is extremely boring but trust me, it's a very sad and heartbreaking video. After watching this video, I feel extremely sad that these kids are just left like that, far away from the city, and treated as outcasts! And the fact that they have to go through so much is really sad.

Seeing how these poor kids are left to suffer on their own really disheartens me... Has the world really given up all hope on them? That I do not know…But I strongly feel that in a way, the media is biased. they only show the glamourous side but what bout’ the ‘not-so glamourous side’? Why can't they focus more on these kids, to get the attention of everyone out there, TO HELP THESE KIDS? Are they just gonna be chucked one side and ignored?

I truly hope more of these poor young kids can be saved coz they too deserve a bright future!

Watch closely and see how these poor little kids are literally 'left to rot and die'...
There are millions, trillions, GAZILLIONS more out there!

Had an awesome and funny chat with Audrey on msn yesterday! :) she was saying something like- i'm always so nice and she wanna give a candy coz she cannot tahan already? HAHAHA! she's silly :]

Today was CCA Day in school. & guess what! I've got 11 points and chalked up 92 CIP HOURS! & I've got a leadership point! yay :D So today basically we did some logo thingy for the parent support group and ms quek told us the $50 prize money isn't small coz we can buy 100 Lollipops, 20 mcd meals and 50 packs of chicken rice? Quite true eh?
After school, went to galavant around J8 with Corrina, Kaixin and Jiaqi. Ate LJS for lunch. After which, we walked around, got some stuff and all that.
BTW, this month i gotta get presents for a few people man! better save up now!!!

Tomorrow or Wednesday is probably the day we're gonna get our report cards. Hope I can get my desired grades and stuff...
ohoh, and the some of the KCPians left for Kunming already,

I'm STAYING in through-train!

yerrr, that's right! I AM, STAYING IN THROUGH-TRAIN! i guess despite my so-called BAD results, i still 'got what it takes' to be in the through-train.. HAHAHAH. oh btw, I passed all my subjects and what's amazing is that I PASSED MATH! like wth? that's like, A MIRACLE! Anyways, this piece of info in not '100%' yet coz I've not got my report card. but the thing is my art and POA teachers told me I didn't drop to N(A). WEEEEEEEEE! so that means if I really am staying on, I'll have to take accounts, art and math next year for O's...
OH OH, and this also means that I can go to SAN FRANCISCO this christmas! my aunt is kinda shocked i managed to meet her criteria(pass all subjects AND stay in through-train) though. HEHE.

Ahh, enough about through-train.
This week has been an interesting AND boring week. Interesting because we got to know ALL our results and boring coz after the exams, the teachers and us have nothing in mind to do...
Today itself was a tad bit boring. BUT Reuben, Felicia, Kaixin and I had a good and enjoyable conversation about the shows we watched when we were small and shows we watch now. it brings back nice memories... Oh and during Geography, we had a nice solid 30 minute talk with our geog teacher and realised she's a super nice and good teacher man! she was telling us stories about her family :)
In the night the was FUEL- Rosary session. AND NO, I DID NOT FAINT! anyways, I felt very paiseh coz I made like 6 or 7 people wait for me? especially Claire who was like super impatient i reckon. HAHA. so yeah, sorry guys! After the rosary session(which was held a cheryl's house), there was great food! HAH. the sushi, eclaire and curry puff was GOOD :)

Lastly, (fyi)I managed to stay in through-train coz of God's help! without his help, i would have been sure to drop to N(A)! All praise and glory to God :)

uh! Class BBQ was alright. THANK GOD FOR THE GOOD WEATHER! A LOT of people were there at 5pm to start the fire but it wasn't successful, so Aloysius brought the food(honey chicken wings and seaweed chicken) to his house to fry most of th stuff. Anyways, I enjoyed playing in the water(like a small lil' kid, HAHAHA!). it was fun BUT i tried to avoid gettin' myself wet coz I didn't bring extra clothes. Most of the guys there brought extra clothes so they were splashing water at each other and swimming. Bryan and I DID get ourselves wet but only a lil', same as Corrina, Qiuying, Kaixin, Sally and the rest i reckon? :) oh, and the beehoon, roasted pork, drinks and marshmallows were good! On a whole, I felt EVERYTHING but the BBQ fire was successful :)

OH YESHHH, THIS FRIDAY ishhhh PROMOTION DAY! :/ all the teachers will sit down and discuss who should stay and drop out of through-train. I got a feelin' I will BUT lots of people say I WON'T! well, I'll just leave it in the hands of the Lord coz He has a reason for doing everything and I believe what He does will be good for me...

YEAH! EXAMS ARE OFFICIALLY OVER! my next hurdle would be the receiving of exam results... Thursday was the last paper, Art. I think my research was good, except for the two layouts which might screw the whole thing up. The final layout was okay lah, at least i completed it and stuff :) oh fyi, i'm school-less till next wed! AWESOME STUFF!

Anyways, yesterday there was a rosary session at Andrew's house with the rest of the FUEL-ers and Koinonians. Was hoping to have a good time with them and dedicate my time to Mother Mary at the same time but sadly halfway throughout the rosary prayer thingy, i had an *attack. So instead of kneeling, i sat down and prayed. but when we were instructed to stand up for the final hymn, I ALMOST fainted. thankfully, aunt liz, andrew, eunice, claire, audrey, joel, chloe and the rest helped me to the sofa, where there was better air ventilation. they were kinda constantly asking me if I needed more water and food, ESPECIALLY CLAIRE, ANDREW AND EUNICE! so i just ate a panadol, two cupcakes, a choc and drank milo and water coz they said that would give me more energy. At around 10 or something, eunice insisted that I went home and rest. So Anthony called for a cab and accompanied me home all the way. NICE & FANTASTIC FRIENDS :) ~THANKS GUYS! Y'ALL MEAN A LOT TO ME!

* if y'all are wondering what attack i'm refering to, its actually like a sickness attack thingy due to some blood disorder or something. It can happen anywhere and anytime(happens once every 1 to 3 months), & like what Andrew jokingly said, i was lucky to have it at his house.
The attack goes in this sequence:
1. I don't feel quite right(slightly dizzy).
2. I feel extremely dizzy.
3. My whole body gets extremely cold and my hands and legs get numb.
4. my sight is extremely blur and my hearing is affected(I almost couldn't see or hear anything).
5. I feel breathless and lethargic.
6. I am gonna faint but usually I find somewhere to sit before it happens.*

yes, i'm super disappointed in myself for not studying weeks and days before my exam. I left it all till the last minute and honestly, I DID NOT sleep yesterday. I had Chemistry tuition from 7 to 11.30pm and from 12mn to 6am, i chiong-ed all the way. Unfortunately, though I had all the knowledge in my mind, I didn't manage my time well and therefore, I did not complete a 6 mark Writing Equations question which i knew how to do but just didn't have the time! ARGH! & fyi, I did not fully complete any exam paper. For every subject, I didn't have time to complete at least 5 marks worth of questions... sighs.

Anyways, next week is the last week of exams. I'll have to tackle EMath(p2), POA, Biology and Art! can i do it? i'll try my best. But the thing is I have a super strong gut-feeling that I'll fail my EMath, Chem, Chinese and maybe Geog/SS too. Oh and I don't think I can mantain in through-train coz of my maths! sighsss...
btw, here's what i think I'll get for:
English- B4 or B3
Chinese- C6 or D7
EMath- E8 or D7(hopefully it'll be a C6)
Chemistry- C6 or D7
SS- C6 or D7
Geog- C6 or D7.
damn bad ehh? yeah. that's how 'WELL PREPARED' i was.
Tomorrow gonna have Maths tuition from 8 to 12.30pm and from 1 to 3.30pm, gonna study EMath with nathan. hopefully i can brush up my weak topics yeah..

STRESSED!

I've got less than one week to study for my finals!
I've not started REALLY 'revising'.
I'm only 15% done with my so-called revision,
what should I do?
I feel like giving up at times.
But I will always tell myself that if I can do well,
I'll get to go to San Francisco.
Unfortunately sometimes it just doesn't work!
The stress is just piling every single day.
I really need the Lord's help.
Without His help, i'm not sure if i can stay in through-train.
My maths suck like hell.
The rest of the other subjects are only boderline,
I could fail or pass by the cow's tail anytime.
I'm afraid that my GFA would not pull my total grade up if i fail my finals!
Nowadays, i've been sacrifising almost 5 hours of my sleep just to study.
I hope it works.
But i think its not really working.
I'm really REALLY afraid i'll get out of through-train!!
Everyone says I WILL NOT get kicked out,
& my chances of getting kicked out is 5%?
That's NOT TRUE!
Only I know myself better and where I stand in the class and level.
sighs, i'm just very stressed, confused and unconfident.

Lord, please give me the motivation, strength and proper attitude to study hard till the day I take my exams. Also, please impart me with your knowledge so that I can absorb what I learn, read and memorise from today onwards. I'm sure with your help, I'll be able to do well! Amen!

this week has been super stressful. at times, i really do feel like giving up man. to be honest, i've only started revising 15% of what's gonna be tested for the 'long-awaited' EOYs!
Anyways, my aunt just told me that IF I CAN STAY IN THROUGH-TRAIN and not drop to N(A), I CAN GO TO SAN FRANCISCO TO SPEND MY CHRISTMAS THIS YEAR! therefore, whenever i think of giving up, i'll think of the Golden Gate Bridge! HAHAHA :)

FREEd was awesome man! it was a success pictures and stuff are on my facebook account! :) HEHE.

These few days has been very stressful for me; peer pressure from friends, pressure at home and family problems. Yes, those are probably the typical stuff that teens go through. But i guess mine is seriously worst than the average problems that you know of. (my siblings would have known, coz i confided in y'all. thanks for the help man! without y'all, i would DIE) & I'M NOT ALLOWED TO GO FOR FUEL UNTIL EXAMS ARE OVER! CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT? FARK!

Anyways, i'll be going on a hiatus till my exams are over. But when i'm free and stuff, i'll update more and post MV(s) alright(i'll try to post once, twice or thrice before my exams)? I really need a super long break man! sighs... anyways, y'all can still reach me on twitter or facebook if y'all one to. I'll check it once every 2 to 5 days.

HAHA.
its 12.37am right now? I just came back from church practice plus dinner with my awesome friends! at 6pm, met claire and natalie for mass and after which, we got our HOLY SPIRIT YOUTH tee! yay! LOL.

Anyways, the FREED p&w practice(which took place from 7.30pm to 10pm) was great! everything has been settled and we're all set for FREEd(an event for all youths) later in the evening! After the practice, Audrey, Eunice, Damien, Tarcia, Jon, Aug, Becky, Joel and I went to Hwa Nam for our dinner! most of us ordered 'xian yu chao fan'(salted fish fried rice) and teh peng(iced tea)! I really enjoy going out with them for a meal coz THEY(audrey,eunice,tarcia,damien) ALWAYS HAVE GOOD JOKES TO SHARE! just now they joked about some miss universe, ah beng and blonde stuff! AND AND they immitated their fav lame and funny advertisement! HAHAHAHA. i really laughed non-stop! :D :D :D
Later in the evening is FREEd! I'll be the backup singer(together with andre and claire)! I'm super psyched up about it! can't wait to see the crowd and everyone, especially the FUEL people who worked super duper hard for this! oh, and hopefully I can snap MANY MANY photos of the whole event(and not forgetting with the FUEL-ers as well)!!
oh, before i go, just wanna give a shoutout to my 'twin' brother:

Yeap! Those were the 'delayed' photos of the camp... Actually those were the best TWO photos, it shows the 'unity and togetherness' of 3Grace!

Anyways, today was tiring... Had tuition in the morning, rushed back for lunch, then rushed to Church. Sadly only I, Damien, Tarcia, Thomas, Aug, Claire and Natalie could make it. We were supposed to practice for FREEd. BUT due to unforseen circumstances, we couldn't. So it was purely a prayer session(we gave thanks to God for all the goodness and love he has showered us with) plus 3 acoustic songs. After which, we slacked... At around 6.30pm, I and Aug went to Ritz for strudel while the rest ate dinner at Swensen's.

TOMORROW IS GONNA BE A SUPER TIRING DAY TOO! TWO tuitions- one in the morning, one in the afternoon, & P&W practice. We're gonna meet in church at 6pm to attend mass. after mass dinner. after dinner, P&W practice! I guess I'll be home at around 11pm tomorrow? :/

for the past few weeks & days, I've gained some new friends but lost some too...

NEW FRIENDS/siblings: (I won't mention names) they really helped me a lot, motivated me when I needed someone to talk to, especially when I was feeling down(in the camp, church, family probs etc). Without them, I wouldn't have made it through the stormy days of my life... Thank God for em'!

FRIENDS/siblings LOST: (I won't mention names) I really don't know how that happened. It seems to have took place overnight... Did I do anything wrong? no, i'm very sure. I just didn't talk to her/him/them for a while coz both parties were busy. I am trying to make things up to her/him/them BUT nothing is changing. Instead, she/he/they is/are drifting away further and further away... & when I'm around, I'm treated as an invinsible fella? WTF. I guess if you're treating me like this, I'll treat you back the same way. so be it. If you're smart, you'll know who I'm refering to(it could or could not be you, who knows. If you're guilty, then its definitely you.)...

I hope I'll manage to forget about the past and focus on the present and future....

KOTA TINGGI TRIP 2-4th September

okay okay! so i finally picked up the effort to update my blog(feelin' kinda lazy nowadays, HAHA)!

[ I've got a lil' prob uploading the photos... bear with me for a while yeah? :)]

KOTA TINGGI CAMP
Date: 2nd to 4th September '09
I can't remember all the activities from A - Z, so I'll just 'summarise' what we did...

the Bus Ride: It was an ordinary bus ride lahaha. 90% of us slept in the bus! It was a 2 hour bus journey to and fro. 3 of the buses were air-conditioned. The bus that took us to the river was not air-conditioned but it wasn't that bad.
the Tent: I slept with Melvin, Reuben, Bryan, Marcus and the DOG&COWARD :) . It wasn't comfortable at all... It was basically a 'cover' above a concrete platform. there were lizards, red ants, frogs, grasshoppers, snails and crickets in and around our tents. I couldn't really sleep coz it was suppppperrrrrr hot too but nevertheless, it was an experience I never had before.
the Toilet: we did our 'big business', 'small business' and bathed there. the drain was choked coz of leaves and tissues. There were lizards and snakes around that area. But at least we managed to get a bath and cleaned ourselves after a day's activity.
the Food: it didn't taste very good. It was just really normal edible food... We had Noodles+Alternative for breakfast, Meat+Vege+Alternative+Rice for lunch and dinner, and bread/cake+milo for supper.

WEDNESDAY: We left school at around 8.30am and reached the camp site at 11.30am, i think. The whole day was filled with activities around the camp site, which were mainlyteam-bonding ones such as Indiana Jones and my favourite, the Jetty Jump! After all the activities, we bathed, had dinner and then went to see fireflies at the Johore Bahru river...came back 2 hours later, had to write reflections and then supper. lights out at 11.30pm!
THURSDAY: woke up at 6.30am and assembled at the canteen for breakfast at 7am! After which, we walked straight to the Kota Tinggi Waterfall for almost 2 or 3 hours. After an hour of walking, we stopped in the middle of the forest for lunch. we cooked our own instant noodles, sausages and baked beans. After lunch, we continued walking till we reached the waterfall. Upon arrival, we jumped straight into the super cold water and splashed it at each other! The most terrible thing was that I had dropped my specs inside the river slash waterfall. but thanks to Marcus(and melvin), I managed to get it back! While moving up to the 'dry platform', the rocks were damn slippery and I almost slipped, but thanks to my classmates, friends and instructors, I managed to make my way up there safe and sound. Oh, did I mention we made Mdm Teo(our form teacher) and Mr Kang(our maths teacher) wet from head to toe? HAHA. After all the fun we had, we had to make our way back to the camp site. & yes, we walked back in our wet and 'sand-filled' shoes. We reached back at 5pm(we trekked for 6 hours!). Before we could bathe, we had to do another activity(which I can't remember). Bathed at 6pm, dinner at 7pm. After that, we were suppose to perform for campfire but sadly it was cancelled because 3Truth had not came back from their mountain trekking... poor guys, they trekked from 10am and only came back at 1.30am the next morning! :( the rest of us who were at the campsite did our reflection and then slept at 12mn.
FRIDAY: all of us in the tent woke up at 7am(which was half an hour late)! Immediately, we brushed our teeth and then were instructed to pack up and do area cleaning. At 7.45am, we had our breakfast and then did some admin stuff before leaving at 10.30am. reached Singapore at 1.30pm :) ( lunched with Jieying, Reuben, Roger and Kok Yong at Pizza Hut after we reached school!)

My thoughts&feelings: On a whole, this camp really made me appreciate the home, family and most importantly friends(and classmates) that I have. They really helped me throughout the whole camp, ensuring that I don't fall while completing the different activities and trekking to the waterfall. If it weren't for em', I would have died there. We constantly motivated and helped each other when anyone faced difficulties. I could really sense the togertheness among us and I can honestly say we became closer as a class through this trip! :D

just came back from a 3D2N camp at kota tinggi! the activities were superbly fun! especially the water ones and not forgetting the Kota Tinggi Waterfall!!! :) but the sleeping area(tent) and toilet sucked, big time.... Anyways, after we came back, I went for lunch with Reuben, Roger, Jieying and Kokyong at PIZZA HUT! (burps).

Alrighty, i'll talk more about the camp and stuff pretty soon(hopefully by this week)..
but right now, i gotta get ready for FUEL later!!

FUEL + KOINONIA outing :) ....what a lenthy post!

bSATURDAY: the FUEL + KOINONIA outing was awesomeeee :) First and for most, I'd like to say that God really was present and he created a miracle(every one there agrees with me)! The weather forecast for Saturday was somethin' like, SHOWERS WITH THUNDER IN THE LATE MORNING AND EARLY AFTERNOON? yerr, it drizzled for a bit but when we wanted to leave for Bontanical Gardens, but after around 15-25mins, it stopped! & lo and behold, the sun was out and the gloomy clouds were all gone! AMEN TO THAT!
Anyways at around 9.30pm, we bought our breakfasts(i got kaya toasts) before leaving for Botanical Gardens. After which, all of us took(there were 24 people present) bus numbers 162(i think) and 156 to NUS. Once we reached NUS, we 'entusiastically'walked to our destination! Upon arrival, we found a nearby shade and settled down. We had a very short 'acoustic praise & worship' session before giving thanks to God reflecting on how close we are to him and stuff. After that, we were supposed to break-up into our pairs and decide on a phrase which shows God's lovce for us all. Once we were done with that and sharing with everyone, it was time for lunch! We were provided Fried Rice with chicken wings :) yummyyy... After lunch, it was time for games! I can't remember the game we played but it was suppperrr fun!
At around 3pm, I and joel, claire, natalie, augustine, penelope, pauline, kevin and brother took a cab back to church coz we were supposed to promote FREEd to our fellow juniors. It felt wierd during promotion and stuff, coz the kids weren't as enthu as us, the promoters. HAHA. but hack lahaha, at least the response was good! A total of about 15 - 20 youths signed up! :D yay! & after all the promotion, we rested in the youth room for a while... oh, we played TABOO there too! IT WAS SUPERBLY FUN TOOOOO! omg, i'm freakin' gonna get a set of Taboo cards for my self too lahaha. Once we finished playing games and resting, some of them left and Aug & I went to prata house for dinnner... I ordered a mushroom+cheese+onion and onion prata, with a milo dinosaur, which costed me $7. I think its quite reasonable? After dinner, i chiong-ed back coz I spent almost 12 hours out. Reached home at 7.30pm :]

SUNDAY: had a new tuition teacher for POA... but sadly, i'm weren't comfortable with him. he's explanations and stuff was okay, but the thing was that he's gay. Its not that I hate or am against gays or whatsoever, I'm just not comfortable with one coz I've never been alone with one before. Anyways, at around 1pm, there was P&W practice for FREEd in church. it was successful, but I just couldn't reach some pitches as they were too high.. I guess I gotta work harder on em'. P&W practice ended around 4.45pm. Augustine and I then walked to Meng's Kitchen for bah chor mee. It was an early dinner man... HAHA.

MONDAY: TEACHER'S DAY CELEBRATION IN SCHOOL! the performances and stuff was good... Though I think those guys and gals who did the Hoedown Throwdown could have done better. The skit put up by some teachers was DAMN FUNNY! well done teachers :) After the celebrations, we had to go back to our classes to get our reports cards. (I did terribly bad this term, and I did not set high expectations for myself at all, the truth is that I REALLY DID BAD. & seriously, I shouldn't have failed art! I honestly blame it on my terribly poor time management...) After that, Melvin, Jonathan and I ran to GV BISHAN to watch The Proposal, and when I say ran, i really mean ran.. We literally sweated like buckets when we reached there. Anyways, The Proposal was damn good and funny! Probably one of the best shows I've watched this year. The nude part was especially funny too! HAHA. thankfully, tan ah gao didn't come, if not my mood would have been ruined... Later at around 8pm, I'm gonna have a new bio/chem tuition teacher, who's supposed one of the co-authors for my Bio/Chem textbook. i'm hoping that she's not a lesbian, old lady or whatsoever. ideally, i'm wish she's a young, smart and 'straight' lady. HAHAHAHA

Alrighty, i've gotta go grab my dinner now!

yerrr, its the last week of august! which also seems like the last week of school to me, coz next week its practically like a holiday for most sec 3s. Monday-Teacher's Day Celebration, Tuesday- Teacher's Day holiday, Wed to Fri- KOTA TINGGI CAMP! :)

Anyways, i just came back from an awesome evening with my family! Had dinner at Singapore American Club! I ate the usuals; salads, pizzas, breads, salmons, cakes etc. After a heavy dinner, we went to GV Grand to watch 'Where Got Ghost?', which was a so-so film. I didn't get the lingo and stuff, coz probably I speak Hainanese and just know a tad bit of Hokkien. But on a whole, I prefered the first story that they featured(3 stories were shown). & today, Mr Sean Tay, probably one of my favourite english teachers, has left for his farther studies in Ireland. I kinda read his blog and Facebook stuff, that's why I know all these 'secret' info. Heard he's coming back on Monday for teacher's day! which means I gotta get him his teacher's day card too... HAHAHA! when he's gone, i'll probably 'dedicate' a small post to him, for being such a GOOD english teacher!

Alrighty, I gotta go sleep now coz tomorrow there's FUEL+KOINONIA outing at Botanical Gardens for 8.30am to 3pm! I'm pretty sure there's gonna be LOTS of fun!

gerard bong just called and guess what he said to me? " I Love You." yerrr, that's what he said. & no, he's not gay. he was dared by his friend, who i think knows me too. LOL. wth -.-

Anyways, Here's what I did over the past few days...

TUESDAY: Bought the Bandslam soundtrack and watched UP! with corrina, shirlene, janet and le en. was suppose to watch it with melvin and bryan but somehow, I 'decided' to watch with the gals(i felt uneasy coz I was the only guy). The movie was AWESOMEEEEEE! It was very touching man, how the old man changed coz of RUSSELL! & i tell y'all, russell is damn cute man. His cheeks are damn chubby and very 'pinchable'. LOL. y'all should catch the movie soooooon :)

WEDNESDAY: corrina and I accompanied sally before she went for tuition :) After corrina left to meet her parents, sally and I went to Donut Factory at Novena Square. She INSISTED that I try the spicy cheese donut. I was wonderin', how can 'spicy' cheese be melted on top of a donut? LOL. And after lots of persuation from her, I finally tried it(she ordered one too). It was not fantastic but good! HAHA. After eatin' and chilling out, she left for tuition at around 4pm? yeah.

TODAY: Left school at 2.15pm coz it rained VERY heavily and flooded almost the whole of inno(the rooftop garden) and our school's entrance slash carpark. Went with Jieying, Roger, Reuben and one sec girl(who's name I can't remember) to Novena Square to check some Billabong stuff and have our lunch. After galavanting for close to an hour, we finally decided to eat at Ajisen Ramen! the total bill was almost $60. LOL.

OH oh, I've got back all my exam scripts all ready. & all i can say is that the results are damn lousy and dissapointing but I deserve it coz I didn't study hard enough. sighs..

ONE MORE THING, mr lau just told me to work with Roger to do photography for O-Levels' Art. & I have to learn photoshop very well? yeap :) that means I've gotta get myself an absolutely GOOD camera!

Alrighty, I've got a meeting with my FUEL for FREEd(an event for all youths) at 8pm. pretty excited about it :) heehee

Anyways, today was an good day :) Went for mass at St Ignatius at 12nn, followed by lunch at The American Club, Singapore. The food there was good, as usual. I had salads, pastries, breads, soups, pizzas, hams, smoked salmons, tarts, cakes and tons more of stuff! I was seriously very VERY full that I had 'no room' for fruits :(

Tomorrow, there's ART EXAMMM(my final paper)! We're gonna have to personify, distort, fragmental, personify and stretch/skew an object given...

Therefore, I'm gonna start practising my drawing skills now :D

yerrr, that's right! exams are over :D though I have to say on a whole, I won't do very well coz of time management and stuff :( oh, not forgetting pressure from tons of people. I can say the worst paper and a sure F9 is POA and maybe chem. The easiest, hmm... bio or chinese? idk.

Anyways, I FINALLY RECEIVED KELLIE PICKLER'S SELF-TITLED ALBUM! It was delivered to me on tuesday :) I'll probably review it sometime this month.

HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY CLAIRE GOH!!!
Yesterday was very very fun! After my Bio & POA paper, I, Reuben, Roger and Jieying went to Orchard :D First stop was Wheelock Place! We went to check out Borders, Marks & Spencer, and some Apple stuff. After that, we walked over to Ngee Ann City for lunch at SEOUL GARDER :) it was my first time going there... The buffet was great! $54++ all in all. After lunch, we went to Kinokuniya. I went to check some magazine stuff for shirlene and reuben had to buy some eraser thing. LOL. Once we were done, we 'crossed over' to Wisma Atria coz reuben wanted to check out Flesh Imp. After which, we walked to Ion Orchard to collect 2 of my BK STUDIO tees(which is awesome and damn nice coz I designed it!) and Zara. We finally left at 5pm! 5 hours out at orchard :)
In the evening, there was FUEL! we watched the Facing The Giants, which replaced the normal bible verse sharing. Just when the movie started showing, Claire and Gerard left. I then later found out that Claire was emo and gerard was comforting her. damn sad luh, coz it was her birthday yesterday. sighs.. But they came back halfway when the movie was showing :) & before Claire left(coz her mother was waiting for her downstairs), I decided to give her a small surprise! Got her a small piece of chocolate cake from Han's. Everyone sang a birthday songgg for her! I seriously hope that cheered her up. After FUEL, which ended at almost 11pm, a whole bunch of us( about 10 people ) headed to Five Star Hainanese Chicken Rice for supper. we talked, discussed and joked about anything under the sun. HAHA. oh, the food there wasn't that good. it didn't live up to it's name, 'FIVE STAR Hainanese Chicken Rice'. I came back home at 12mn :)

Today I woke up at 5.50am to meet Augustine & Jonathan(from FUEL) for mass coz it's the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary(a day of obligation for all catholics). So when we were at church and settled down, we saw Claire and she came and sat with us :) Was pretty happy that she wasn't emo like last night :D in fact, the hyper Claire was back! After mass, we met Gerard and Nathan for breakfast at Ya Kun. But then before we started ordering our breakfast, she turned emo again... I wanted to help comfort her but looks like only gerard is and was capable of doing that : (hope she's okay now...) Anyways, long story short, we ate our breakfast and Claire only had milo for breakfast. After breakfast, I came back home for a while and then left for chinese tuition.

Here We Go Again by Demi Lovato: Taken of her latest album of the same title, this is an absolutely good song to rock out to :) If you're into 311, Nickleback or Daughtry, you might like this song too. Its good that Ms Lovato has moved to more pop rock songs, rather than teen pop ones. The music video is pretty easy to understand, so I won't explain it. The key points are in the begining and ending of the video! p.s.: emily teng from 987fm lovessss this song!

F*ck You by Lily Allen: this song is seriously funny. the tune is sureeeee to make you laugh(or think its silly)! HAHAHA. The music video show Allen stretching and distorting things and people! :)

okayokay. So, the national day celebration in school was damn lame? yeah, IT WAS. I wore my Ellen LAUGH.DANCE.LOVE red shirt :) At 8am, all the 5 levels in school assembled in the hall for the first time after the June hols! Firstly, we recited the pledge together. Secondly, our new VP read a longgg speech from MOE on National Day. Thirdly, there was a talk from 'someone related to Mr Low, our Principal, about living overseas and the kids in China? yeah. After the longggg talk, mr koh and mr ho played a lame game with us; the level that could say 'HAPPY BIRTHDAY SINGAPORE!!! YEAH!' the LOUDEST would get to go home first. wth? LOL. After the 'celebration', I had to had straight to class for a bio test. Bio test was very okay. I'm hoping for a B4 and above :)
In the evening, I had FUEL! it was fun man! First, we met at church and once everyone arrived, all 15 of us walked to Retro Cafe, just opposite church. It was quite good :) After dinner, all of us walked back to church for discussions regarding the 'Youth Night'! again, I won't leak anything out. as usual, follow me here & on twitter if y'all wanna be the first to know exclusive news regarding the 'Youth Night'! After FUEL, I, Jon, Natalie, Augustine and Joel went to Icekimo for what else but Ice-Cream! I got a blueberry cheesecake ice cream on crispy waffle! Around 10.50pm, the Icekimo people told us they're closing. Therefore, we went out and sat in a circle on the floor. Joel discussed with us on some 'spiritual prayer' thing. It was a tad bit scary coz a holy or evil spirit could possess you if you ain't careful enough.

Today was a boring day man.. Had math tuition in the morning from 8am to 12.15pm! Then in the evening, had chemistry tuition. chapter 7(writing equations) for chemistry is damn tough! sighs, i guess I'll have to study harder! Believe it or not, I have not touched my SS, Geog, POA and Bio yet! craps!
oh! btw, that idiotic Heng J__g J__ wants to COMPETE with me in common test 2 results. wtf. I swear, if he does that, I am NOT gonna talk to him anymore.

The Begining of COMMON TEST 2!

sighs, Common Test twooooo has started :( that means a whole week of stress,stress and MORE STRESS! oh, and I think I'll also be a nerd for one whole week! is that a good or bad thing?

Okay, enough crapping! Today I had my first two papers; English and Chinese.
Chinese was pretty okay. It was a composition and I chose Q2, which was ' I finally plucked out some courage to say Thank You'. My story somewhat resembles the previous 11pm show on Channel 8( 蓝色仙人掌- Rhapsody In Blue ). Some people said I'll just pass, but there are also some who said that I'll get pretty high marks. Well, I'm hoping to get a C5 and above :)
English was pretty okay tooooo. It was Comprehension+Summary writting. I'm really really REALLY hoping to get at least a B3... OH OH, talkin' about English, mr Sean Tay said he saw my blog man.. HAHA. I find it really wierd, coz I really don't know how he found it. He said he has his 'resources'. Mr Sean Tay = a very resourceful teacher? LOL.

Here's a question to ponder on:
Why do most Asians find it hard to say ' I Love You' to their friends, parents or relatives?
I've been watching quite a few American TV shows since I was young, and have always noticed that kids, teens, young adults and even adults often say ' Love You ' to their friends/family members on the phone or before they leave the house. & they don't find it hard to do so at all. I for one can say it but still, I feel awkward to say it sometimes.. Is it coz we Asians find a deeper meaning in those three words or is it just plain awkwardness?

- MV of The week: Good Girls Go Bad by Cobra Starship feat. Leighton Meester -

About the song: it basically is about a guy who makes literally changes a good daddy's girl into a bad one. HAHA. I don't really understand the song that well but hey, the tune is gooooood.

The Music Video: 'Gossips Girls' star Leighton Meester runs an underground club-like place, complete with shelves of booze, gambling tables and a dance floor. The band is in charge of the above-ground deli that acts as a front operation to 'secret' club below. To gain access to the illegal club, patrons must order the correct sandwich and proceed down a staircase. Meester and Victoria Asher(the band's keytarist), exchange texts messages while in the club concerning a package hidden in the DJ's booth. Meester retrieves the package and shortly after, the club is raided by police. At the end of the video, it is revealed that Asher and Meester were undercover cops involved in a sting operation.

My thoughts slash opinions: the video is a tad bit confusing but watch it around two or three times and you'll get the idea. But nevertheless, the song is pretty nice yeah(though not as meanigful ans sentimental as Kellie Pickler's I Wonder, HAHA.)!

the other half of my saturday was okay.. My uncle, dad and I went to the newly renovated St Bernadette Church! It was way better than the previous church man! Firstly, there was air-con. Secondly, the place was bigger(there's a second storey). & Thirdly, the sits(furniture) were all changed! :D After mass, we went for dinner at Fishermen's Warf(directly opposite Central). The fish 'n' chips was damn fresh and good! HAHA. After dinner, we went back to my uncle's appartment to slack for a bit. :)

SUNDAY[FUEL canteen(breakfast) service]: Woke up at 6.50am! Reached church at 7.07am :) we started off with an opening prayer and then arranging of tables and food. there was a huge variety of food; prawn mee soup(which was the best!), baked rice, nuggets, japanese chicken, beehoon, nasi lemak, toast, eclair and many MANY more! It was tiring and needed a bit of hardwork but nevertheless, it was absolutely fun! There was definitely teamwork present man:)
& at the end of the day, we managed to raise $1019+!
THANKS TO ALL FUEL-lers(especially Becky, Cheryl & ALL MENTORS) FOR MAKIN' IT A SUCCESS!
After this ended, Jon, Augustine, Andre and I went over to Thomson Plaza for lunch at SUBWAY! :) Andre's sandwhich costed $16, coz he added extra meat and stuff. HAHA. I ordered a Subway Club :D

TODAY: a very stressful and boring day man, school ended at 2.30pm. Coincidentally, I met Augustine in the train. We chatted for a bit before I alighted at Novena. Anyways,I got back my english and chinese test papers back. I was lucky to be one of the 10 people in class to pass. & for chinese, I failed VERY VERY badly. kinda regret not allocating my time well. Maths was a disaster man, I could not understand a thing the teacher was teaching. oh and Bio i failed too? idk, i just guess so. I've decided to seriously put in effort and not slack anymore. I don't care if its just one week more to the Common Test or I don't have enough time, I just wanna try my best for this week and 'gobble'/'swallow' all the stuff I need to know. & when its time for me to 'vomit' em' all out, I WILL!

FUEL Session II + SAT!

YO!

Just came back from a FUEL- MIP meeting at church.We were discussing what stuff for a closing celebration slash party slash event that was going to take place after the L9's MIP(12th September)... & we decided on a MOVIE NIGHT! Not to reveal too much but hey, its gonna be real fun! keep it locked here for more info. btw, I know y'all are pretty blur right now but fret not, when the day comes near, I'll provide clearer and more detailed info :)

Yesterday was a pretty fun day. IC Registration in the morning :) Gonna collect our IC in one month! HAHA. After registration(which took up THREE periods), we were told there was an extention in recess time, and that meant there was NO Geography test! LOL. The test would be postponed till after our exams :)
In the evening, there was FUEL! :D i'm always lookin' forward to that i tell ya... Anyways, yesterday's topic was 'Hungry' and was shared by Gerald and Damien. Gospel reading was John 6:24-35. we had to discuss somethin' like was God/Jesus ever in the list of thing our favourite things or things we really wanted. After that, I, Jon, Andre, Nat and Augustine went to Icecube aka Ice3 for supper. We had 8 really mini scoops of Ice-Cream and a Seafood platter. it was damn nice but a bit ex : Augustine was damn nice to treat us close to $20, which meant the rest of us only needed to pay $2.50. LOL.

alrighty, I gotta go get ready for Mass at the newly opened St Bernadette Church later.
tomorrow gonna wake up real early for FUEL Canteen service(we're gonna serve the parishioners in church breakfast)! hopefully I'll have time to go online yeah.

So, its been a few days since I last posted eh? well, it has been a very bad and stressful week for me. Probably more stressful than the Common Test week(which is just next week!)... Well, this week I had seven tests to tackle. five down, 2 more to go. The worst thing is that I don't even think I'll pass these 5 tests(POA, chem, bio, SS and chinese), coz it was like 1-3 tests a day? & the thing is I got back my chem and SS paper already. & guess what, I FAILED. for chem, there was only one 'survivor' and for SS, only 21 passers? craps. sighs, all I can do is to pray that I'll even pass the remaining tests and definitely put in more effort in order to pass or ace the common test.

Anyways, lets move away from the 'sad boosh' and 'boo-hoo' mood and talk about Kellie Pickler instead! Well, I FINALLY ordered Kellie Pickler's latest self-titled album online at http://www.kelliepickler.com/?content=music ! :) damn happy luh. its coming in 13-15 days time! can't wait man!

Intro/about the song: This song is taken of Kellie's first album, Small Town Girl. It simply describes the personal experiences of Pickler's childhood, in which her mother was absent. Listen to the lyrics closely and you'll get the idea. fyi, this song reached the Top 15 spot on the Billboard Hot Country Songs!

The Music Video: It starts off with Pickler getting off her tour bus, talking to fans and signing autographs as she enters at the famed showplace. After this, Pickler sings on a simple stage and after which, she walks to her dressing room, where she sees a little girl standing against the wall and is reminded off her past. She then walks out into the stage and sings. The song finishes and the video ends with Pickler seeing the little girl and smiling at her.

My thoughts slash opinions: I really feel that this music video is pretty touching and most importantly the lyrics of this song has a lot of meaning behind it. It's certainly very sentimental to Pickler. Listen to the song, the lyrics, watch the music video, and you'll get the idea.

FUEL (MIP) Session 1!

Well, the first session for FUEL (MIP) was pretty fun! Claire, Jon, Nat, Andre, Augustine and I met at Thomson Plaza for dinner. After a quick bite, we headed straight to church and while walking there, Claire screamed twice. The first time was coz of a spider, the second was coz of two dogs barking. HAHAHA. Anyways, we started our first FUEL session off with a game called Charades! I had to act out the word HEALING without mouthing the words man... Everyone was laughing non-stop coz I acted us a doctor first, then someone who fell down and some other wierd stuff. But at least, my awesome group managed to guess what it was :) After the games and stuff, we did some sharing on John 6:1-15, which was this weekend's Gospel. After sharing with our cell group, we ended off with a closing prayer & ended at 10.20pm.

SATURDAY- I got two of the albums I wanted; Kellie Pickler's first album, Small Town Girl, and Demi Lovato's 2nd album, Here We Go Again! Gonna review it soon, probably by this week :) Btw, I'm probably gonna import Kellie Pickler's self-titled album! :D

SUNDAY- Here I am, blogging about what I did on Friday and Yesterday. Gonna do some studying later coz I HAVE NOT touched my books the entire weekend & have about 6 tests to clear this week! *craps*

Mr Men & Little Mss

Initially I thought this promotion 7-11 had was superrr lame. But little did I know that I would be collecting it! If only I had the power of premonition, then I could see th near or far future, HAHA. In my class itself, there are about close to about 12 people who own at least two of the Mr Men & Little Miss characters! & its not just the girls, but the guys too! Corrina, me, Kaixin and Jovan currently have 7 characters. The ones we don't have are damn rare(Mr Bump, Mr Strong and Little Miss Shy)! Now we are kinda 'competing' with each other for who can get either one of the rare characters first. LOL. Corrina owes me a capsule too, & I owe kaixin and her my Lady Gaga cd, coz they wanna burn a copy of it over the weekend.

Today was a pretty normal day in school; had POA, Chem, SS and Bio. After school, I, Zainul, Kaixin, Corrina, Bryan, Sally, Reuben and Sally went to mac for lunch and did a tad bit of discussion for th debate. Our topic is: " With the advancement in technology, students no longer need to go to school."

I didn't really get a glimpse of the solar eclipse here in Singapore, coz I was having lessons in school. sighss. But somehow, I could feel a change in climate. The weather was quite cold and it was raining damn heavily and from what I read, it rained almost everywhere else in Asia. Such a powerful effect the solar eclipse has ehh? Anyways, I got Ban Mian and shared it with Melvin:D Corrina and Kaixin didn't wanna eat. LOL. After lunch I and Melvin went to the bubbletea shop and we got our milk-tea with pudding :)

I just created a collage of my bestest siblings!(: I had a bit of a tough time deciding who to put in but thankfully, I got it all sorted out after 20 minutes! Also, I took 2 hours to create this! I'm really a noob at this man.... Personally, I kinda like this collage very much and thought it was damn nice(self-praise!). LOL. Anyways, school today was okay luh. Lessons were a bit boring. The new topic for maths, Trigonometry, was damn tough but the stupid Jing Jie, eh sorry I mean Clever Jing Jie, said it was damn easy already. HAHA. He's a maths pro luh. After school, took a bus to J8 with KaiXin and Corrina. Once we arrived, Corrina left to take 53 home while Sally, KaiXin and Me walked to somewhere that was 'so near but yet so far' from J8. We got bubble tea(: I got Almond Milk Tea with Pudding. That was my first time trying it man... But I have to say, it was quite nice. After purchasing our bubble tea and stuff, we walked back to J8 and started galavanting. While walking halfway, we were supposed to turn around to take the escalator up to the second level but little did I know, there was a pillar behind me. Luckily I was fast enough to avoid it coz if not, I would have had a knocked myself on that big pillar. HAHA :D Kaixin and Sally were laughing away coz I was so 'blur'. HAHAHA(: After walking around for close to half an hour, I left first while th two of em' went to watsons or somethin'.

Intro: If y'all followed me on Twitter, you guys would have known that I'm really into this song, and I mean REALLY REALLY into it. Within just 3 days, it has snatched the title of the 'Most Played Song' from Michael Jackson on my phone's music playlist. Just in case y'all don't know who Kellie Pickler is, she was actually a contestant on American Idol in 2005 that sadly only made it to the 6th place. She had a very sad childhood to be honest... The Music Video: it tells a story about her former boyfriend who cheated on her and was going to get married and build a family with his lover. Although, she wishes them to be happy and have a nice life. She also feels sorry for his new girlfriend, because she has the concept that a cheater will always be a cheater. tells a story about her boyfriend who was supposed to turn for the candlelight dinner they arranged but instead, he decided to spend time with his lover and lies to her that he's working. Coincidentally, they bumped into each other at some place and she realises that he has been cheating on her, thus deciding to break-up. After a while, the boyfriend then finds out that his current girlfriend is pregnant and regrets it. He runs to the middle of the street to apologize to Kellie but the latter didn't want to forgive him & fortunately, a lorry knocks him down, resulting in him being temporarily paralyzed.
My thoughts slash opinions: I really can't say much about this video... All I can say is to check out Kellie and Taylor's expression when he suddenly got knocked down. HAHA. It's really a good song and music video(:

Anyways, here's what I did over the past week....

Tues-Thurs: Same ol' school day... BORING. our seats were changed by Mdm Teo. now damn boring luh, Corrina not sitting behind me :( very sad, coz got no one to tease and disturb anymore(: BUT, still got Kai Xin, HAHA. still not that bad(:

FRIDAY: school was okay... The highlight of the day is that in th evening, there was a BBQ at Lakeview Condo... & not just any BBQ, it was the FUEL BBQ. LOL!
FUEL Barbecue:
I left my house at 6pm for Thomson CC to meet Tarcia and the new L9 FUEL member. Unfortunately, I reached there about 10 minutes late and it was damn embarrasing coz I was the last to arrive and everyone was waiting for me? yeah. Once we were all there, we walked opposite to Lakeview condo for our BBQ. First we had to introduce ourselves through ice-breaker games such as wacko and some other game whereby we had to say an adjective to describe ourselves, for example- Joyful Jeremy or Lazy Lionel. Yeah, you get the idea? After intro-ing ourselves, it was time to EAT but not before our grace before meal(: The food was quite good, there were chicken wings, kebabs, steaks, bee hoon and the MOST MEMORABLE SAUSAGE that 'SQUIRTS' CHEESE. We were all laughing at 'dirty' joke that Thomas and Joel created. Thankfully, Claire didn't understand it. Jonathan was telling her that it something to do with ' a Dog and a Tree '! fyi, it had somethin' to do with the Sexual Reproductive System. HAHAHAHA. After our dinner, we sat in a circle and Joel, Andrew & Thomas shared with GHOST stories with us. Most of em' were about the ghosts in Army. freakin' scary luh. After the sharing of ghost stories and the awesome get together, we ended of with a closing prayer led by Joel. After which, we went home... ahhhhhh(:

SATURDAY: As usual, tuition in the morning... After which, I came back for lunch(: Around 4pm, Dad brought me to Zara at Great World City to get what I wanted. I got a jacket and shoe for $160. HAHA. but seriously, damn nice luh. Who knows? I might be changing from Flesh Imp to Zara. Or maybe shirts & berms form Flesh Imp and Shoes & Jackets from Zara? LOL. After shopping, I went for mass at the Church of St Bernadette, just opposite Great World City and damn near my uncle's house. Once mass ended, we went to Chinatown for cze char dinner(: damn nice luh. There was a damn big sweet n sour fish, beef with bittergourd and other nice stuff. After dinner, we headed back to my uncle's slash cousin's house to chill. I came back home at 12mn(:

Do you know that the half slash crescent-shaped moon that is located at the end of the nail (which is closest to the skin of the finger and most noticable on the thumb) is called the Lunula? & surprisingly, it has a clinical significance!

Anyways, school was pretty good today(except for a certain GL slash attention seeker who was going all out to irritate and seek attention from almost everyone in the class. I reckon he's a nutcase. LOL)..... We had our class photo taking! I'm hoping that the photos would turn out well... btw, I finally was 'labelled' as tall in my class, coz I got to stand at the last row for the class photo, HOHO. Maths and EL lesson was good, chinese was okay(: Sadly, tomorrow there's a POA test on Cash Book and Petty Cash Book man... Gotta study hard for this test, my target is at least a high B4 or B3( 64-70%)!

Yeap, the highlight for this weekend was shabu-shabu

SATURDAY: had tuition as usual... For lunch, I had Warong Nasi Padang! IT WAS DAMN GOOD(: After lunch, I did a bit of studying & had some family stuff to attend to... At 6.30pm, my family went to Our Lady of Perpetual Sacrament for mass. fyi, its located at east coast(: After mass, we went to my Godpa's house(which was near the church) for SHABU-SHABU, which was SUPERBLY GOOD! There was beef, pork, veges, abalone, cockles and other stuff! oh, did I mention there was dessert too? YEAP, we had homemade Pulat-Hitam, it was very nice. After all the eating, we decided to watch The Day The Earth Stood Still on DVD. HAHA. Headed back home at 11pm :D but the worst thing was that i missed my MIP mass man... i kinda regret it man, but at least Nathan comforted me, so I don't feel THAT guilty anymore... HAHA(:

SUNDAY: After a wierd dream [I was cyclops in X-Men and had Jean Grey's powers and my team(the X-Men) was attacked by Magneto], I woke up at 11am :D After washing up and stuff, I figured out I had nothing to do. Thus, I decided to follow my nan to Orchard. We walked around for a while and then had lunch at Wisma(: After lunch, I got breads from BreadTalk for our tea-break. Once I got em', I headed back home and here I am studying and waiting for dinner time to come. HAHA(:

Kenny Rogers IS THE BEST!

Yeap, that's right man. KENNY ROGERS is indeed THE BEST! Well, i wouldn't say it's definitely the best restaurant but, it's really really good. Their roasted chickens aren't that good, coz it was pretty dry and really hard to eat. But thankfully, their side dishes(especially their Potato Salad and Mac 'n' Cheese) are good & the FAMOUS CORN MUFFINS are superb! & also, it's pretty reasonable for students. For $13,90, you get a 1/4 roasted chicken, 2 sides of you choice and a corn muffin. how cool is that?! HAHA(:

Anyways, today was a pretty relaxed day. English in the morning, PE, Geography and then chapel. After school, Me, Reuben, Bryan, Melvin, Marcus and Jef went to Novena Square for lunch slash project discussion at Kenny Rogers:D Jef is a vegeterian therefore he couldn't eat. Marcus didn't want to eat. LOL. So, reuben & I ate the quarter chicken meal... Melvin & Bryan ate mac 'n' cheese. HAHAHA(: it was good stuff man...

After which; at around 2.30pm, Melvin and the rest left coz they were late or somethin'. (btw, the total bill was $44) HOHO..... After paying the bill and stuff, Jieying meet us at Kenny Rogers and we ChitChat-ed, bought breadtalk & KFC and walked around the whole Novena area till 5pm. HAHA(: At around 5.30pm, she & I took 131 back from United Square and Reuben took another bus back home....

Yes, I've finally decided to explore music videos of country songs... First things first, here's a lil' background of this band: Rascal Flatts is an American country rock band founded in Columbus , Ohio. Since its inception, Rascal Flatts has been composed of three members: Gary LeVox (lead vocals), Jay DeMarcus (bass guitar, keyboards, vocals), and Joe Don Rooney (lead guitar, vocals).
I personally feel this music video, song, lyrics and the scenes are very touching. Its about a family visiting a graveyard of a lost father slash husband. The man is accompanied by a small boy, waiting to take him to heaven, who is revealed to be the daughter's son, whose grave is side by side with her father's. Yeah, it's a tad bit confusing but if you watch it for about two or three times, you'll get the idea...

First week of July!!

Hey hey!

Sorry for not posting for one week... I was on a short hiatus. HAHA.
Here's some info on what I did over the previous week......

Mon to Fri: school, AS USUAL. Lessons were good except for chem & bio, which I don't understand. Gonna do some thorough revision soon.... But anyways, the first school week was supposed to end on a good note but a certain ******* broke my watch and didn't wanna pay up & didn't even say sorry?! I won't tell him to pay up anymore. Coz if he doesn't, he has to face up to his own conscience and it reflects on how he's brought up....

Saturday: Tuition in the morning(as usual)... Once I came back home, I completed my homework and had a lil' short nap. HAHA. Around 5.30pm, we went for sunset mass at St Ignatius Church. btw, 'We' consists of me, nan, dad, uncle, granduncle & grandaunt. The highlight of the day was when I was suddenly 'greeted' by someone, the conversation went like this...
I was walking to the main church from the carpark when some guy wearing a black t-shirt & skinnys was smiling and 'greeted' me with a friendly punch on arm, " OMG, is that Jeremy Chua?! "I was so freakin' shocked & replied, " Yeah? who are you?" Immediately, I saw a change in that guy's expression. He replied, " You don't remember me? (shaking my head, I said no..) Nevermind " He left feeling really dissapointed. But I left with a big 'question mark' in my head, WHO WAS THAT GUY? (the answer is at the end of my post)
Durin' mass, I wasn't paying 100% attention to what Father was saying coz I was trying to recall who that guy was. But even after that, I still couldn't recall who that guy was luh. Oh, & did I mention that I got scolded by my granduncle for being arrogant and proud when I answered that guy? LOL! But seriously, I was really proud when I answered him.
Anyways, after mass, we went for dinner and after that did something which I won't say(: The only thing I can say is that I had lots of fun & enjoyed the prata supper(: Came back at 1.45am!! HAHAHA

Sunday: As y'all know, my most boring day of the week is SUNDAY. Well, I woke up at 12.30pm, had 'the world's worst curry chicken noodles' for lunch & did a bit of studying. See? Wasn''t that boring? Today: HAPPY YOUTH DAY!(: Just had lunch at Kenny Rogers... The food is really REALLY good! You should try their Macaroni & Cheese, Potato Salad and the ever famous Kenny Rogers Famous Corn Muffins!!! I don't really celebrate Youth Day, so it wasn't a celebration slash treat for myself... HAHA(:

The music video is nice, cool and simple... It basically shows the hot & independent Jesse James being wanted by many men. HAHA.

Comments: released on June 2 2009, this latest album by 311 is one of the best rock albums I've ever got! btw, 311 is pretty popular in the states but sadly, there are only less than a 1000 fans here in Singapore.... Anyways, there are 12 tracks in this album(original edition, not deluxe) and they are mostly rock, modern rock and alternative rock... My favs are the two singles, 'Mix It Up', 'India Ink' and 'Too Much Too Fast'. The rest of th songs are pretty good too, but not my favs. oh & the first single, 'Hey You' came in at no. 3 on the Billboard Hot Modern Rock Tracks and the album came in at no. 3 on the US Billboard 200 chart!

Ratings: 4/5- An absolutely rockin' good album that you'll enjoy! Non-fans of 311 should get it too, coz after hearing their first two singles, you'll be sure to rock out to the rest of the tracks! So don't forget to head down to any good record store to get your copy!!

Granduncle's 70th Birthday!

back from a scumptious dim-sum lunch Red Star Restaurant! The food was superb, especially their egg tarts, mango pudding and 'pei dan zhou' (:

Anyways, my granduncle's 70th Birthday Celebration Dinner at Rendezvous Hotel yesterday was a blast! A total of 120 people turned up for the dinner.... It was very successful & the food was delicious =P It was a 10-course meal/dinner... We had Roasted Chicken, Shark's Fin Soup, Prawn Salad, Shark's Fin Omelette, Braised Mushroom & Veges, Ee Fu noodles, Top Shells, 'Live' Sea Bass, Red Bean soup and a few more dishes which I can't remember, HAHA. Anyways, here's some photos to go along with this post..........(sorry, no pictures of food.. It was so delicious that I decided to 'whack' it immediately!)

RightyO, just came back from Transformers:Revenge Of The Fallen! Caugh it at GV Vivo with my 'di-di', uncles and aunt. It was an awesome awesome AWESOME show!! Many people were comparing Transformers with Terminator(coz i guess both had robots in the show? idk.), and most of em' thought that Transformers is way better. HAHA.

Comments- This movie is packed with loads of action, humour and 'sexyness'. HAHA. Though I spotted a mistake(you must be sharp enough to spot it..), that didn't affect what I thought of the movie on a whole. The sound effects, visuals, music, casts, 'Autobots & Decepticons' were excellent. In fact, this second sequel was better than the first one! With a total of 46 robots(32 more than the first movie) being used, this show is definitely a movie you won't regret catching(especially if you're a Transformers fan)! Anyways, I guess I'll let the trailer do the talking(:

Taken of their latest album, Uplifted, this american-band's first single is superb! I swear, I'm really insanely addicted to this song! The first time I heard on 1015 The Hawk(101.5fm, a radio station in Nova Scotia, Canada), I told myself that I gotta go download this song immediately! The tune, the vocals, guitarists, EVERYTHING about this song is AWESOME! Anyways, I feel the MV is a tad bit boring but check out the guy holding the 'Hey You!' board! The way he turns and flips it is absolutely unique and cool! Fyi, I'm gonna check out their album at HMV probably this Wednesday and if they have it, I'm definitely gonna get it! Comments: released on June 16, 2009, this much anticipated album by all Disney fan(especially JoBros fans) is finally here. This album has more rock than teen pop songs compared to their previous album, which I suppose is a good thing. They also colaborated with Miley Cyrus as well as Common for two duets each. My personal favourites are their first two singles and the duet they did with Miley Cyrus for a song called 'Before The Storm'.... There's also a bonus track, titled 'Keep It Real', which is taken of their hit TV Series on Disney Channel, JONAS.

Ratings: 3.5/5- You could consider gettin' this album into your collection, but if you don't want to, its alright. But nevertheless, I highly recommend ALL JoBros & Disney fans to get this album! & to all NON-JoBros slash Disney fans, DO NOT GET IT. I doubt you'll enjoy it. On a whole, I did, though I feel they need to advertise their album more man. If not, it'll not sell a million albums worldwide...

yup, that's right. The days are numbered, till the end of the June holidays :( I'm really dreadin' it... It's like a routined day for me once school re-opens!! Anyways, i'll try to make the best out of the remaining days left........

Anyways, it's been ages since I last went online and blogged man... Hope y'all are doin' pretty great yeah? Well, my last few days has been good! Though I was down with the flu bug for 7 days(Mon to Sun)... It felt horrible man, the itchy throat, bad cough and the 'wet' nose. It sucked, BIG TIME. But nevertheless, I still went out for some fun went I felt slightly better. HAHA.

Friday- went to AMK Hub to get a gift for my dad. After which CityLink to get the brand new album by the Jonas Brothers, ' Lines, Vines and Trying Times'... & then walked to Funan to get a good bowl of beef noodles but to my surprise, that shop closed down! Like wtf? Grams and I thought it was still there man... So sadly, we had to make do with whatever shitty food there was...

Saturday- Had tuition in the moning... Came back for a good lunch after tuition. We had Mee Soto, made my my grandpa and maid. After lunch, I watched Twilight on DVD! The show was a bit draggy but nevertheless, it was good(: Then went for mass in the evening at the Church of St Bernadette with dad and my uncle & aunty. When mass ended, we headed straight for dinner. Had porridge at a restaurant at Tiong Bahru... It was delicious, I had pork porridge with century egg and the normal egg. HAHA. After dinner, we went to Great World City to to get some groceries and my uncle got a new fan from Best Denki. LOL!

Sunday- HAPPY FATHER'S DAY DAD!!! There was a Father's Day party at my aunt's house. So everyone came together for a sumptuous meal, & when I say everyone, I mean EVERYONE- ALL my uncles, aunts, cousins and distant relatives. I think a total of 50 people was present. There was a whole range of food, from Mee Rebus to Mee Siam to Tahu Goreng to Satay to Chicken Curry, and the list can go on and on! But of coz, it wasn;t prepared by us, my aunt hired caterers to cook the food on the spot in the garden..... Everyone loved the food man.... HAHA.

AnyOhow, I'm pretty excited! Coz tmr, I'll be watching Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen!! WOOOHOOOOOO!!!!!!!! HAHA.

Alrighty, up next is the review for the latest JoBros CD i got.

TRIP TO GENTING HIGHLANDS slash MALACCA

Hey hey!

I'm finally back from a 3 day 2 night holiday at Malaysia(: I seriously had a blast there!! The rides were awesome, family bonding was great and food was good!

Friday 12/6- Left for Malaysia at 4am. Reached Genting Highlands at 11am. We had our lunch at some coffeehouse and then checked in at 12.30pm. We(my cousins and me) headed straight to the outdoor theme park at 1pm! The rides were seriously crazy! My first ride was the roller coaster, which was SUPERB! I have to admit I was a tad bit scared while queueing up for our turn!! After the roller coaster, we went for more rides till around 5pm? yeah. After which, we went back to our rooms to rest and wash up. Dinner was at 7pm. Food was okay luhhh... After our dinner, we explored the indoor theme park. I felt the rides were pretty boring. It was more of family rides than thrill ones...

Saturday 13/6- Woke up around 9pm, had burger king for breakfast!! Around 12pm, we had our lunch at a cantonese restaurant. We ordered Dim Sum, which btw was super delicious(: After our lunch, we ran straight to the outdoor theme park! We sat on the flying roller coaster, viking boat and many more!! After much fun, we left the theme park for shopping. I got a few pieces of clothes from FOS and Padini Authentics(: After shopping, we went for the indoor rides, again. But this time, we sat on the roller coaster, explored the haunted house and tons more!!! After our rides, we met everyone at 10pm for our later dinner at a Hong Kong slash Taiwan cafe slash restaurant(:

Sunday 14/6- Left Genting Highlands at 9.30am for Malacca!!! Reached Malacca at 1pm for some superbly delicious peranakan food at Nancy's Kitchen! We ordered countless dishes, including Ayam Buakelat, Popiah, Otah, Kang Kong, Fried Sotong and many more. Oh, and not forgettin' the signature chendol too(: After our heavy lunch, we decided to shop at Makotta Parade till 5pm. I got myselfy more shirts too. HAHA. Anyways, after our shopping and the massive jams, we reached Singapore at 11pm!!! Its damn crazy, 6 hours journey from Malacca to Singapore!!!

Final reflections~ If you ask me whether I enjoyed this trip and if it was successful, on a scale of 1 to 10, I'd give it an 8/10!!(: Anyways, i feel that time was wasted mostly on queueing up for the rides and the theme park. I could actually sit 12 rides in one day but ended up with only 6 coz of the time I had to waste on queueing up....

But not to worry, we won't be squeezing in one car, there'll be two cars, one five sitter car and the other, eight sitter. & I'll probably get some stuff from Genting slash Malacca for Claire, coz lately she's not been feeling too good(tons of unnecessary problems), yeah, poor girl. Hope she'll go back to her hyper sell soon!

Anyhow I'm pretty sure it's gonna be a great holiday! Looking forward to the very cool weather, family bonding time and theme park!!!

Gonna keep this post real short, so here goes.....

OKAY! Today was one of the best Mondays I've ever had!
I finally got my 'Laugh.Dance.Hydrate.' Ellen water bottle from US, Lady Gaga's album, 'The Fame' and watched the exclusive preview(3days before the official release) of 'Drag Me To Hell' with Cheryl!

Before meeting Cheryl at City Hall, I went to HMV at Citylink to get Lady Gaga's album. All of a sudden, I just liked her and her songs(probably coz of her performance on Ellen)!! Anyways, met her around 6.50pm and we headed straight to GV at Marina Square. Once we reached the cinema, we collected the free tickets, got our popcorn and drinks and headed straight to the movie theatre! The movie was good, scary and somewhat usual and unusual(if you know what I mean). HAHA. oh, and it was great watchin' the movie with her. She said it wasn't really THAT scary. ohoh, she predicted some parts too, and surprisingly, HER PREDICTIONS WERE RIGHT! LOL!

Alrighty, reviews for Lady Gaga's album as well as 'Drag Me To Hell' comin' up in the damn near future!

Hannah Montana: The Movie(PG)
She has always had the best of both worlds, now she has to choose one(either the high class celebrity life of Hannah Montana OR the simple 'country girl' life of Miley Stewart)!
Intro: As Hannah Montana's popularity begins to take over her life, Miley Stewart, on the urging from her father, takes a trip back to her hometown of Crowley Corners, Tennessee to get some perspective on what matters most in life.
My thoughs: This movie is definitely a good one! Firstly, the songs are great. Secondly, the plot is fantastic. Thirdly, its a funny movie with some 'touching' scenes. The part between the begining and climax was a tad bit boring but nevertheless, an awesome movie to catch this summer!
Rating: 4/5- WORTH WATCHING!

First few days of Holidays...

Okay, my first few days of the holidays were pretty okay, a tad bit boring though. LOL

MONDAY- Maths remedial in the morning, learnt Pythagoras Theorem. I understood 75% of it(: After which, went for breakfast at mac with Kenji and Darren, all of us took McGriddles, if I'm not wrong. In the afternoon, i wanted to use the laptop BUT found out that my aunt confiscated the 'yellow cable'(used to connect the laptop to the broadband). SO, i couldn't go online. Eventually, i slept from like 2 to 5? woke up to watch Ellen and other shows...

TUESDAY- I was played out my my maths tutor! Initially, i arranged with him for tuition at 11.. But when I arrived there, he wasn't home. YEAH. It was terrible... But the good thing was my aunt asked me to meet her at her office(Raffles City) for lunch. So, i took a train to City Hall and just before I met her, i got a copy of the 987RSVP CD!! Met her around 12.30 and then went to Ikea for lunch coz she wanted to get some stuff around there... I had Swedish Meatballs and chicken wings! HAHA. Oh, i saw Ms Joyce(my sec 1 english teacher) & Felicia and her friends there. SUCH A COINCIDENCE!

WEDNESDAY- Maths tuition in the morning. Nothin' else in the afternoon.

Thursday- Spent the whole day with Qiuying, Shirlene, Felicia and Su Theng! Bryan and Daryl were supposed to come but due to don't know what reasons, they pang seh-ed us at the last minute... That left me the only guy there. >.<>
1. Met Qiuying and Sutheng at City Hall around 11 and then walked to Marina Square. QY and I had a cup of Iced Latte before the movie...
2. Shir was 10 mins late for the movie, HAHA. We got our popcorn and then rushed in... Btw, we watched Hannah Montana: The Movie. LOL
3. After the movie, we went to the bowling alley to bowl. LOL. Sadly, my good ol' bowling skills coz i guess I didn't keep practising... The last time i bowled was 3 years ago, can you believe it?! Anyways, shir didn't wanna play coz she didn't have enough money? Overall, fel was the best, followed by qy, st then me. LOL
4. Went for luch at macs after the movie... Once we were done, we went for a 'window shopping spree' around Marina Square, City Link, Raffles City and Novena Square.
Reaced home around 7.30pm. HAHAHA

Today- DID PRACTICALLY NOTHING! woke up around 12nn. Watched a few episodes of Charmed and gonna watch 'Twilight' and 'The Curious Case of Benjamin Button' later!! (btw, i found where my aunt hid the 'yellow cable', HAHA. that's why I'm online now! dont know if she will find out or not :/ ) Oh oh oh, i've got a pair of preview tickets to 'Drag Me To Hell' next monday! Anyone wanna come? HAHA. I've got my cousin/bro/uncle/sis in mind... LOL

Anyways, this weekend (the last weekend of May) was pretty alright...
SAT&SUN: Spend the whole day at my uncle's house opposite Great World City. My awesome aunt cooked one of her signature dishes, Prawn Noodles(soup)! It was really delicious!! HAHA. On Sunday, woke up pretty early and met my uncle at St Bernadette's Church for mass... After which, we headed to Maxwell for a hearty breakfast. We had roti prata, porridge, doughstick, rickshaw noodles, teh tarik? WOW. that was really alot! HAHAHA. yeah, that was my weekend. It was great, coz we had a good time together- Family Bonding!

Terminator Salvation!

Today is the LAST DAY OF SCHOOL! well, at least till the June Holidays are over(:

And what better way to celebrate the closing of school than to watch a movie with friends and family! I caught Terminator Salvation(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Terminator_Salvation) last night at Vivocity! It was an awesome show! The SFX was actually better than X-Men Origins! WOW. Starring Christian Bale(from The Dark Knight), Sam Worthington and tons of awesome actors and actresses, you definitely can't go wrong with this movie. I always love the structure and shapes of these robots. HAHA. Btw, you actually have to know your Terminator stuff before watchin' the movie cause it'll help a bit. If not, you'll get lost. OH, & *Arnold Schwarzenegger* will be starring in this movie too, so keep your eyes WIDE OPEN(you'll know why i put ** above after watching the movie). I'll give it a 3.5/5. Reason being, it was a tad bit noisy plus, some parts were confusing and draggy....

Also, I've got back my report card! Once again, I exceeded my expectations!! Got a B3 for my total percentage and much less than 19 points for my EMB3! HAHA(: congratulations to myself! LOL

& School holidays are starting tomorrow! Gonna share with y'all my plan on my next post(:

Lastly, I'm kinda pissed off by the fact that my aunt recently found out about my blog and she's been reading it?! WTF. I dont know which farkin' nitwit told her about my blog man. The Weekend after Common Test One

My weekend wasn't too bad(:

SATURDAY: Went for catechism class at 4.... We discussed and shared our different ways/methods of praying. Aunt Judith introduced us to praying via meditation or somethin'? it was very relaxing i tell ya! gotta try it some time soon(: After class, went straight to east coast for Ice Cream Chef, then to my Godpa's house. Ice Cream chef was NICE! Had green tea mixed with nutty peanut butter. AN AWESOME BLEND! After which, had a Nasi Lemak feast at Godpa's house! There were like 6 dishes(fishes, otahs, chicken wings etc). HAHA. Oh, to go along with it, he created a 'soda with sour plum' drink. SO REFRESHING MAN! After that wholesome meal, i spent time with my cousins... Went back at 11plus in the night =P

SUNDAY: Always a day set aside to slack! Went for sunset mass in the evening at Blessed Sacrament church. btw, that's the ONLY church in Singapore with a GONG! HAHAHA. The main highlight for today was Me calling Jacqui on 987, The Weekend Winedown! I've not talked to her for months! She was pretty happy and excited that i called her(: I don't know how she knew I was 'that Jeremy' that called her often when she first started off two years ago on 987fm. HA! Oh yeah, the most funny part was when she said, " your voice is much deeper now, are you havin' a sore throat or somethin?" I told her that my voice broke or somethin'. And her reply, " WAY TO GO man! you're a man now........." HAHAHA! but of coz, that wasn't recorded, that was our Private talk! HAHA. All i can tell ya is that, she's just hysterical! I requested for Miley Cyrus's The Climb..... In the night, i gave Sarah-Eden a call. She asked me how my results were, and i told her that i did average, though some exceeded my expectations. And she congratulated me(like Jacqui)! & told me that the most important thing is that I PASSED! btw, i requested for No Boundaries by Kris Allen! An awesome song fyi!! (:

i had 3 kinds of cheese spreaded over the bread, one is goat cheese, the second one is fruit cheese and i'm not sure about the third one. it starts with the letter L. :/

i just remembered to take a photo once i finished the mussle and the other shell thing. HAHA. the middle one is the nicest! CLAM:)

Its kinda messy, but on the plate is a baked potato, sauteed veges, sauteed potato and a steak hidden under the veges :P

DESSERT! there's white chocolate mousse, pistachio mousse and mango pistachio cake! :)

Yes, that's right! Kris Allen won Idol! I'm pretty sure you guys already know that though. HAHA!

Anyways, I've downloaded two songs each from Adam Lambert and Kris. I personally feel that 'No Boundaries' is a pretty nice song. American Idol aside, i've finally got my results for common test one. Well, I'm satisfied and happy. (: you may ask:

Well, my answer to all of em' is YES! so that makes me an average student(;

AND to celebrate my results, i went to Grand Copthorne(next to Zouk) for an awesome buffet dinner. Had like...6-9 rounds of food! there were clams, barbequed food(steak, fish, prawn etc), baked food(potato, veges etc), 6 different types of cheese(fruit cheese, goat cheese etc), sushi, raw fish(sashimi, salmon etc) and TONS of desserts! I literally ate till i was very full, like from 8pm to 10.30pm? It was crazy, but the good thing is i skipped lunch and breakfast today(:

oh, & i'm gonna go to Godpa's house in east coast for a feast later! gonna share with y'all what happened there either tomorrow or Monday!

&&, HAPPY BIRTHDAY UNCLE MENG! yup, my other uncle is celebrating his 30 something birthday! He's always been bringing me out for great food and everything, hope he'll have an awesome time today! (:

A day set aside to.......

hey hey!

today was literally a day set aside for SLACKING or should i say, CHILLING OUT! haha:)
woke up around 11am, then searched for my pile of DVDs. Upon finding it, i decided to watch Beverly Hills Chihuahua. It was a nice and funny show, dog lovers would love it... Anyways, around 1pm, my aunt came back and got me Nasi Padang(malay rice with dishes) from Warong! it was damn nice! LOL. After lunch, i literally slacked all the way. HAHAHA. & right now, i'm pretty full, coz i just finished my dinner... I had a bowl of pork porridge(with egg) and baked salmon! the two dishes don't really 'pair well', but it sure is nice!

EXAMS ARE FINALLY OVER!
phew! no more sleepin' at 3am everyday! :)

Anyways, this post will be be divided into 3 parts(fyi, it's gonna be VERY wordy);
1. COMMON TEST ONE: thoughts and feelings.....
2. What I did today
3. random stuff

1. OKAY! so i reckon y'all are probably wonderin' which papers i'm the most confident and least confident in? alright, i'll share this with y'all then. here's how much i think i can score for each subject...
ENGLISH: relatively easy! i think i'll get either a B3 or A2 or better yet, A1!
CHINESE: tough man... I didn't know how to read tons of words! i might fail. But hopefully i'll get a C6 yeah!
SOCIAL STUDIES: A1 or A2! =)
GEOGRAPHY- i'll fail FOR SURE. i reckon less than 5 students out of about 34 students in class will pass.
PRINCIPLES OF ACCOUNTS: mrs tang(my POA teacher) told us we all passed except arjun(this guy literally gave up POA man...)! so, i'm hoping i'll get a B4!!
BIOLOGY: i think i'll pass my the cow's tail. therefore, i'll get either a C6 or C5.
ART: damn, i made a terrible careless mistake. can't really interprete it... that means, if Mr Lau(my art teacher) is linient enough, he'll pass me. If not, i'll fail :(
CHEMISTRY: the paper was average lah. i missed out some key points while studying. so this might just lead me to either a C6, C5 or B4 only :(
ELEMENTARY MATHS( E Maths): it wasn't that difficult as i though it would be. so, i'm hoping for either a C5 or B4!! :)

2. Initially, i was supposed to go with Reuben, Jeremy, Roger, Jie Ying and Dylan to Marina for Seoul Garden buffet, movie and galavanting, but i decided to go with Shirlene instead, coz i didn't really spend time with her for the last 2 months or so. yeap yeap, so she invited Royce along too! First, we went to Food Republic at Wisma for our brunch(we left school around 11, i think). we talked ALOT there, and got a chance to catch up with each other... Anyways,Shirlene had prata, whereas Royce and Me had.... a bowl of BEEF NOODLES(dry)! btw, i influenced him to buy that =P seriously, it's suppperrrr duppperrr nice! its really authentic and traditional i tell you. if you happen to go there, get a bowl for yourself! After our branch, we went to takashimaya! we walked around the WHOLE MALL for 2 hours man... & I finally got a present for my uncle, who's celebratin' his birthday this sat. Once we were done with galavanting, we went back to wisma to go to flesh imp to get my stuff. After which, we went to far east plaza to galavant(again!) and chill out at Gelare. Shirlene and I got a waffle to share, topped with chocolate sauce, whip cream and Oregon Mint Fudge ice-cream! We left around 3.145pm. time spent at orchard= about 5 hours! HAHAHA:D

3. tomorrow i'm gonna slack! btw, i rented a couple of DVDs, gonna watch em' ALL tomorrow! HAHA. Oh, and i'm gettin back ALL my papers this week. wish me luck! ;)

sighs, exams started already. Today was our first two papers, English and Chinese.

ENGLISH: Hopefully i can get at least a B3!

CHINESE: GONE CASE. Pretty tough and had no time to complete the paper. If i'm lucky, i would have passed by the cow's tail(:

Next week is a stressful week!

Gonna have 5 papers:
Social Studies- Wednesday ~ chiong for AT LEAST a B3!

Geography- Thursday ~ at least a C6(: [ coz the stuff are too complex, and i don't really have much time left ]

POA- Thursday ~ aiming for a B4 and above!

Biology- Friday ~ a B4 and above would be great! [ i forgot some stuff, and chapter 6(nutrition in humans) is tough! ]

Art- at least a B3!

Treasure those you love and care for....before it's too late....

It just dawned on me, how fragile life is... Just last friday, i was watching Entertainment Tonight and found out that 2 of the 'Golden Girls' had died, Estelle Getty(from picture- left, with specs) and Bea Arthur(from picture- bottom, sitting down). Estelle passed on last year and Bea, just last week- 28 April. They starred in the hit sitcom, 'The Golden Girls'(which aired from 1985 to 1992, and then a repeat last year).... I watched this show with my grams a few years back and just recently, last year....

Estelle was even releasing an exercise video for senior citizens in 1993! But ironically, she fell to victim to those 'old folk illnesses/diseases'... Sadly, Bea made her last public appearance just last december, but in less than 6 months later, she passed away?! Sighs, life is really fragile and unpredictable... You could be laughing, talking and joking with your friend, family member, or anyone today, but tomorrow, that person could be dead?! That's why i feel that we should really appreciate those around us, coz you never know what might happen to them the next day, hour, minute or even second! Anyhow, You can catch the show on youtube(just search 'the golden girls')! It's a show with OLD PEOPLE, NO YOUNGSTERS. Saturday- Had Tuitions(Chinese, SS, Geography and POA)! sighs. Went for evening mass at Holy Spirit in the evening. After which, I was supposed to chill out and have fun at some church event at the attic, they were gonna show a movie, ' The Great Pope', and there was gonna be Praise and Worship too. So after mass, Nathan called and asked where was I... But i told him i'm gonna give it a miss coz i wanna go home and mug. He was like kinda dissapointed? yeah. & around 9plus, Bong texted me and said i was missing out the fun and *other stuff*. HAHA. So, i mugged till around 1am. After that, i was 'drunk'. Shalt not elaborate more:)

Sunday- DAMN BORING. woke up around 1pm or 2, cant remember. Around 4pm, started mugging all the way till 7pm. Around 7.15pm, i caught X-Men on TV. yeah. and and, around 9.45pm, i gave Sarah-Eden a buzz and we had a nice chat! She asked me about my english oral presentation too, but i told her it'll be on Monday(tomorrow!), and she told me she's pretty sure i'll do well, coz i sound pretty confident when talking to her- she wished me all the best too! LOL! Thanks anyways SaraH! =)

CRAPS. I forgot about my Geography 'webquest'! Its due tomorrow! Gonna CHIONG(rush) through it right now!

HEY HEY!!

Just got back from the X-Men Origins: Wolverine movie! Had a blast at Great World City!:) Alrighty, this post is strictly 'dedicated' to X-Men and only X-MEN. Here's my brief review of the movie:

X-MEN ORIGINS: WOLVERINE: An awesome, awesome, AWESOME movie!! EVERYTHING was GOOD. I wasn't dissapointed at all! not even 1%! Actors were great, Sound effects were good, graphics were amazing! Honestly, the 2 hour movie didn't seem like two hours, AT ALL! Anyways, here's some tips from me, best if you follow:
-Must read the wikipedia page on the movie before you watch it(to familiarise with the characters, unless you know em' very well, like me! *ahem ahem*) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wolverine_(film)
-WATCH the trailer before you even head on down to the cinemas! Then you'll get a rough idea what the movie is about.

~ great trailer=great movie! ~

-Do not leave the cinema when the credits start rolling, they'll only roll for 10 seconds, after which, something will be shown.
-Lastly, choose the bests seats in the house and prepare yourself for one of the best X-Men movies ever! p.s.: SOO from 987fm said her favourite part was when Logan ran around NAKED. HAHAHA.

Wolverine and the X-Men: A new cartoon of the x-men series! This time, Emma Frost is in! yeah, that 'ice queen', as i'd like to call her:) I'll let Wikipedia do the talking, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wolverine_and_the_X-Men . It airs on Okto today, May 1, 7.30pm to 8pm! The figurines are already out in the stores, and are selling FAST.

X-Men, the animated series(original): This is my personal favourite X-men animated series, coz its the most original! The characters are damn cool && not forgettin' the ever catchy theme song!(though its without lyrics) Once again, i'll let my 'best friend', Wikipedia, do the talking, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/X-Men_animated_series . btw, it aired from 1992(I weren't born yet!) to 1997! So, i watched the repeat around 2002 till 2003? yeah! HAHA:)

how's your week been? HAHA.
here's a VERY BRIEF info on what I did this week!

Tuesday: Had visitors during Art, they came all the way from Scotland! AWESOME STUFF. I really enjoyed their presence. They were there to observe how lessons are being carried out here in Singapore! They gave a souvenier for all the 18 or 19 art students! It was a pencil and pen. LOL! oh, marks for chinese test was dissapointing......

Wednesday: It was was a boring, lousy and damn shi*ty day. Scored 76% for my bio test though! && sighs, after school sucked. BIG TIME. Don't wanna elaborate, it just SUCKED. I'll try to forget it:)

Thursday: Nothin' much? Kuo Chuan Presbyterian Secondary School's 85th FOUNDER's DAY! There was a change in timetable too. And around 11.30 to 12.15, there was a talk on Kuo Chuan and how much we've achieved over the years and recently. OH OH, and i got 11/12 for my SS test. Now really satisfied though. *secret reason*. HAHAHA.
~ and I'll be watchin' X-Men Origins: Wolverine later in the night! YEAH! Damn excited about it! Here's a short trailer for y'all! It's on the 5 popular characters of the show: Wolverine, Gambit, Sabretooth, Wade Wilson and John Wraith!

Weeeeekend

WHAT'S UP!

HAHA:) alright, gonna share with y'all what i did for my weekend, just a very brief one!

SATURDAY- Chinese tution in the morning, followed by Geography&POA tuition, and then around 3, went for catechism class! During class, it was suppperrr retarded, coz during a certain part, nathan had to do a rough tracing of my feet! HAHA. But seeing how everyone was doing the same was really funny:D After which, Nathan invited me to attend Kenneth's belated birthday party at Bong's house. But i didn't want to go, coz i had dinner plans, needed to study and another *personal* reason. So i came back home, had my awesome dinner, watched a movie and then studied(very little, dont know why!).

Sunday- Slept till 11.30am. Went for 12nn mass at St Ignatius, followed by lunch at some Teochew restaurant. Had porridge and some other delicious and not so delicious dishes:P Came back home and slacked. Watched Star Awards 2009 too! After watching Star Awards, i headed straight to the books and studied Geography:) oh oh, and i had an awesome Popeye's Fish Burger with hashbrown for dinner. hehe:)

EXTRAS: Over the weekend, i also got my 3 X-Men Origins: Wolverine figures! I got Cyclops, Gambit and Wolverine! WOOHOO. Gonna catch the movie this week:)

Anyways, today has been a rather stressful day. I just scraped through my english test(LOTS of careless mistakes) and only got a B4 for my geography test? & my POA tuition just ended and he told my aunt not to have high hopes for this mid year's paper coz i might not do so well? He also said my Geog, SS & POA is VERY MESSY?! SH*T! I'm feeling really stressed and nervous at this point of time, coz i dont know if i can get an A for both 3 subjects.... Also, there's a test on Trial Balance and Credit Transaction tmr?!

Alrighty, gotta go now, wish me the best of luck for tomorrow kay?!
